Mommy and I received this book from the publisher and I have to admit that this goes on my favorite list of books as well.

Its called Tuck Me In  written by Dean Hacohen and Sherry Scharschmidt and although you would think I would only read it at bedtime I just can’t seem to put this book down. From the moment Tuck Me in arrived in the mail it was in my hand.

Its a very simple book and perfect for little ones like me. I get to learn new baby animals that aren’t often seen in other books. Can you see that picture above? That’s how it starts out. It’s time for bed. Who needs to be tucked in. Pig says “I do!” and I get to tuck Baby pig in with a page that completely looks like a blanket. Who else needs to be tucked in?

I got to meet Baby Zebra, Baby Elephant, Baby Alligator, Baby Moose, Baby Hedgehog and Baby Peacock. I’ve seen a peacock before while at the zoo but I’ve never seen a Hedgehog or a Moose so it was fun learning about new animals.

Tuck Me In perfect for little hands and laps such as mine. Not only is the story interactive but the illustrations are very nicely done as well and each paper blanket matches the animals. Did you notice Baby Pigs pillow, each animal has their very own unique pillow as well to go along with their blanket.

This book is perfect for your little one’s bedtime ritual and even for your daytime story time as well. Mommy and I have a reading circle in my room where we sit and read. I know when mommy sits there it’s story time and mommy knows when I sit there I want to be read to.

We definitely recommend Tuck Me in and give it Two Tiny Thumbs Up!
